Just under 5 years ago we started; a bootstrapped tech company with a handful of clients, professional know-how, and a vision of what we wanted to do. Over time, that know-how, vision, and list of clientele has grown ... considerably. And so has our staff! As we grew, it became increasingly obvious that we were outgrowing our own name; we weren't only serving those word-of-mouth referrals anymore, we weren't just a one-man operation anymore, and being the 'I.T. guy' wasn't enough - our vision was bigger than that.
In mid-2018, we began the process of a re-brand and started asking some questions both internally and to our customers: what did we focus on, who did we help, how did we help them, what did we want to stand for both as individuals and as a company? As we looked back at our 'Vision Statements' throughout the years, one thing became very clear: the vision was still the same. In 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018 we had, without realizing it, written down almost identical mission and vision statements. As we earned more and more business, as we met more and more people, as we interacted with more and more business owners, we kept seeing the same thing over and over. For almost everyone, I.T. was an expense, not an asset! It was an endless financial black-box: no one knew what it was doing for them, they just knew it cost money - it was a necessary evil.
It was this that ultimately led us to our new name. We realized our clients hired us because they needed Fresh Perspective and Fresh Technology ... they needed Freshtech.
Albert Einstein is often credited with stating “a problem cannot be solved with the same level of thinking that created it”. It's hard for non-technical people to come up with solutions to technical problems. It's harder for someone with no technical background to know everything technology should be able to do for their company. And it's nearly impossible for someone in a single company to stay aware of everything that technology is already doing for their competition. You simply can't be in more than one place at one time. People need someone who can stay on top of all that for them. They need someone to come in with a fresh perspective.
So this is our mission. It's simple. It's sincere. It's at the core of why we do what we do.
At FreshTech, we feel technology is amazing and it's our mission to bring fresh technology and fresh perspective to each of our clients - turning technology into an asset that works for them instead of against them.
So here we are.
FreshTech - Fresh Technology | Fresh Perspective.
